Black is the New Black

The color black is timeless.

The color black will never go out of style. It is that one color that you can always count on. Every girl should have some black in their wardrobe because it never fails. All black outfits are easy, effortless, and so chic. It looks like you've tried but really, all you're doing is wearing one solid color head to toe. Here are some of my favorites rockin' the "all black everything" look.

Now, a fun way to rock the "all black everything" look is by adding a pop of color to your look. Here is Miley Cyrus adding a flannel with some blue in it to give it that pop of color. And, here is my all time favorite, Kylie Jenner, rockin' some hot red Nike Air Yeezy shoes; supporting her brother-in-law while wearing an all black outfit, nicely done Ky.

Male Fashion!

Most girls look for a guy with a sense of humor, a nice smile, a nice body, but me, I look for a sense of fashion. I love a guy who has a similar fashion sense as me. A great sense of humor, a nice smile, and a nice body are just bonus points, but what I really look for is a guy who knows how to dress.

Believe it or not,  I take fashion inspiration from male fashion. I love looking at Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Big Sean, Austin Butler, Tyler The Creator, A$AP Rocky, and Jayden Smith (just to name a few) because their outfits give me inspiration when I'm putting together outfits of my own.

Now I'm not saying that I dress like a boy, but one thing that I always notice about these lovely 7 guys is that their outfits always match. Also, they all seem to stick to basic colors like black, gray, white, blue, and burgundy and it just so happens that all of those colors are my favorite colors to wear. Wearing basic colors like these just make putting outfits together look so much cleaner and effortless.
I like browsing in the men sections of clothing stores to see what is trending for men to give me inspiration.
Tell me in the comments below if you too like to take inspiration from men's fashion as well!
Stay cute.

Krazy 4 Kimonos! ♡

Spring has sprung! And a quick and easy way to transition your winter wardrobe to spring is by throwing on a kimono. These light weight cardigan-like pieces are very flowy and look great with anything! Kimonos, to me, are similar to flannels because you can wear a white tee, jeans and throw on a flannel and you instantly look trendy .. same for kimonos.

Kimonos just add a feminine touch to any outfit! I am obsessed and I am a proud owner of multiple kimonos. Most of my kimonos are floral print but as you can see above, Kylie Jenner is rockin' a black one from her clothing collection sold at PacSun. Personally, I love the floral kimonos the most just because it makes me feel girly and flirty when I wear them which is a huge change since 9 times out of 10 you will spot me in a flannel which is not girly at all but hey .. I love flannels. Anyways, kimonos are lovely and are a great spring piece to have in your closet. Stay cute!

Bringing back the Overalls!

90s fashion is slowly making its way back into style! Overalls were the "it" thing to wear as a kid in the 90s. I've owned too many pairs of overalls to count - short overalls, long overalls, and skirt overalls. All of my favorite celebrities wore them too!

They are so easy to just throw on with a shirt underneath and just go. Now, they are making their way back into the streets again! Here are some celebrities that have been see wearing overalls recently.

Overalls can be found anywhere now since they are coming back in style. There are also a lot of different ways that you can style overalls. Underneath the overalls, you can wear them with crop tops, bandeaus, tube tops, or just a plain v-neck.
But of course, this post would not be complete without a picture of my fashion queen, Kylie Jenner. Here, she is wearing a light brown overall pant suit from ASOS paired with some gold pumps.

This just goes to show that overalls can be dressed up or down and they can be styled any way you'd like. Will you be rockin' overalls? Let me know in the comments! (:

☼ Suns out, Buns out! ☼

Now as spring is quickly approaching, bathing suits are now out in clothing stores. There are one pieces, two pieces, bikinis, and now cheeky bathing suit bottoms... They are pretty much everywhere bathing suits are sold now. Cheeky bottoms started making their way into the trend last summer but now, they are everywhere. They are basically bikini bottoms that show half of your butt cheek.
If you are insecure about your booty showing, then this trend is not for you because your buns are literally out! Some girls are super confident in their body and love to show off what they got but other girls, not so much. The Kardashian and Jenners do not seem to mind though. Kylie Jenner and her big sis Kim Kardashian are loving their cheeks!

It is crazy how less and less clothing we wear nowadays compared to how much women covered up back in the day.

Back in the day, women literally wore mini dresses as bathing suits to cover up. Now, women just wear a bra and underwear, pretty much, to the pool or the beach and don't think anything of it. If you think about it, we are half naked but it just seems like the norm so we don't think twice about it. It's just what we are use to. It is what the evolution of swim suits have evolved to.

However, I'm not bold and confident enough to get cheeky so I'll be sticking to my two piece bikini, thanks! Stay cute.

High Neck Line!

Crop tops have been taken to a whole new level with this new trend that I've been seeing around lately. Most crop tops have been v-necks or scoop necks but now I am seeing them with high neck lines.
This trend was perfect for fall/winter because it was a way for us girls to get away with wearing crop tops in the cooler months. Although crop tops are a summer piece but the higher neck lines will keep you warm still since your necks and chests are covered and not exposed. High neck line crop tops have been making it's way into the warmer months as well. They can easily be worn on those cooler spring and summer days or nights with a pair of high waisted pants, skirts, or shorts.

They can be found anywhere for super affordable prices. They look flattering on anyone and it just gives your outfit a more "put together" look since the neck line is higher than usual. Stay cute.

Around the Waist!

First off, isn't it funny how fashion repeats itself? This fashion trend that I am about to talk about has been around since the 90's except, it wasn't really a trend. It was something people did because they got tired of holding their jacket/sweatshirt so they just tied it around their waist like so ...

But now it has become a trend to tie something around your waist whether it be a flannel, denim shirt, sweater, or anything. This just adds a little extra something to your everyday look. If you decide to wear a plain white v-neck with some jeans, add a flannel around your waist and you are instantly more trendy.

This look also is another one of those trends that looks great on girls or guys.

This trend has been in style for awhile now and I don't think that it's going anywhere because it is so effortless and laid-back. Anyone can pull this look off and that's what I love most about it. Stay cute.

Boyfriend Jeans!

Who needs a boyfriend when you have boyfriend jeans? They're practically the same thing. Haha, I'm kidding. But boyfriend jeans are pretty great. It feels like you're wearing jeans that belong to your boyfriend... (or in my case, my non-existent boyfriend).

I've never been one to like wearing baggy jeans since I've always been a skinny jeans kind of girl but lately, I've been feelin' this boyfriend jean trend. They are comfy, baggy, cuffed, and usually have a few holes in them to give it that "worn-in" and grungy look.

You can throw on a basic crop top, hair in a top knot, and boyfriend jeans and then you're literally good to go. You are comfortable and still stylish! Stay cute.

Two of A Kind

Crop tops and skirts are fun but SAME PATTERN crop tops and skirts are even funner! (Is funner even a word?) Anyways, ladies have been wearing crop tops and skirts with the same pattern. I remember back in 5th grade that this was not cool; to wear a shirt that had the same pattern as your pants. Or even wearing a pink shirt with pink shorts was not cool. But now, somehow, it is! (Isn't it funny how fashion repeats itself?) Well, I personally think that this look is darling. It has a cute, flirty vibe to it that is going to be adorable for the spring and summer time. The first time I've ever seen this trend was when, my favorite, Ariana Grande starting sporting them last year.

Then, my other fave, came out with a crop top and pencil skirt with the same pattern in her clothing line (The Kendall & Kylie Collection) that is sold in PacSun.

After that, I've started to see them everywhere! On the runways, on celebrities, on the streets, and anywhere else you could think of.

I think this look is adorable and looks so put together. It almost makes you look like you're wearing a dress from far away, but up close, you can see a hint of skin which makes it very flirty and girly. I love pieces like this so, even though I'm late on another trend yet again, I will still be wearing it in the spring and summer time. Stay cute!
