First off, isn't it funny how fashion repeats itself? This fashion trend that I am about to talk about has been around since the 90's except, it wasn't really a trend. It was something people did because they got tired of holding their jacket/sweatshirt so they just tied it around their waist like so ...

But now it has become a trend to tie something around your waist whether it be a flannel, denim shirt, sweater, or anything. This just adds a little extra something to your everyday look. If you decide to wear a plain white v-neck with some jeans, add a flannel around your waist and you are instantly more trendy.

This trend has been in style for awhile now and I don't think that it's going anywhere because it is so effortless and laid-back. Anyone can pull this look off and that's what I love most about it. Stay cute.
